We started this company in the early spring of 2006 to record,
distribute, promote and retain Pow Wow music while protecting the
Artists. The reason for War Pony Records was based on a spiritual
dream and guidance provided by Elders and Traditional Teachings.
The focus of the company is to provide First Nations Artists the
ability to produce and protect their music and expression without
fear of being taken advantage of or being misinformed, while fully
retaining their rights and legalities. At the same time providing a
service which could best be accomplished by individuals involved in
the same Pow Wow Lifestyle; BY POW WOW PEOPLE, FOR
POW WOW PEOPLE! We are a family based business which
prides itself on taking and applying Traditional Teachings and
Respects as an important part of Providing Professional Top Quality
Products at the same time, fully informing all parties involved. The
